On the morning of December 11, Russian forces attempted to launch an air strike on Kyiv, but all missiles were successfully shot down, according to a statement from the Kyiv City Military Administration.
“This morning, the enemy attempted to carry out a missile strike on Kyiv, similar to what happened exactly a month ago, on November 11, when a ballistic missile was launched towards the capital. Today, December 11, at approximately 4:00 a.m., Russian troops launched another strike with missiles, probably of the ballistic type,” the KMVA reported.
Air defense troops successfully shot down all the missiles. The missile fragments fell in the Darnytskyi district. Information about the fall of fragments in the Holosiivskyi district was not confirmed.
Four residents of Bortnychi were injured. A man born in 1992 suffered shrapnel wounds to his legs. He was given first aid on the spot. Three women – born in 1963, 1990 and 1992 – suffered an acute stress reaction and were given aid on the spot.
