Kyiv earned UAH 74 million from parking fines

In Kyiv during 2024, more than 230,000 drivers received fines for violating parking rules. These fines brought 74.1 million hryvnias to the city budget. This became possible thanks to the decisive measures of the Department of Territorial Control of the city, which actively fights against violations of traffic rules.

"Over 230,000 drivers were fined in 2024 for violating parking rules! To avoid unnecessary fines and trouble, park responsibly," the press service of the department said in a statement. It is also indicated that another 61.2 million hryvnias came to the city budget from parking fees.

In his comment, Deputy Director of the Department, Serhiy Dubenko, said that even in the first days of the new year, in particular, on January 6, 72 orders were drawn up on Mykhailivska Square against drivers who tried to park their cars in prohibited places.

These measures remind drivers of the importance of following parking rules in order to avoid unpleasant consequences and maintain order in the city.
