The Kyiv City Council passed a decision that prohibits companies and individuals paying taxes in Russia, as well as those under sanctions, from registering plots of communal property. This important decision was initiated by the UDAR Vitaliy Klitschka faction, and the co-chairman of the faction, Dmytro Bilotserkovets, announced its support by the Kyiv City Council.
"Those who pay taxes to the Russian budget must choose whether to do business in Ukraine or in a terrorist country!" - Bilotserkovets emphasized, stressing that the decision is aimed at preventing the support of the aggressor country through tax revenues.
From now on, any companies or individuals wishing to rent communal land plots in Kyiv must provide the Department of Land Resources of the KMDA with letters of guarantee confirming the absence of direct or indirect control by Russian individuals or legal entities. If it turns out that such guarantees have been falsified, the right to use the land will be immediately revoked.
