"Fly to Africa" - Medvedev gave new advice to Russians

The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmytro Medvedev, expressed the opinion that residents of European countries "do not really want" to see Russians and recommended his compatriots to choose African countries for vacation.

During a speech at the forum of the United Russia party, Medvedev urged Russians to choose Africa for vacation, because, according to him, they are "very well received" there. He emphasized his advice by giving examples from his own experience of traveling to African countries.

This advice became relevant in the context of Russia's relations with European countries, as well as in the light of Russian President Vladimir Putin's statements about the role of Africa as a new center of power. According to Putin, countries must take into account the influence of Africa, which can affect the geopolitical situation.
