The gynecologist called the optimal age for the birth of the baby. According to her, the best time for childbirth is up to 35 years, when the female body has not yet accumulated so -called "genetic breakdowns", and the risks to the health of the mother and the baby are minimal.
The medicine also noted that the perfect interval between childbirth is about two years. During this time, the woman's body has time to recover completely after pre -pregnancy.
After 40 years, the doctor says, pregnancy is already associated with significant risks: the likelihood of chromosomal abnormalities in the fetus increases, as well as complications for the mother. This point of view is also shared by scientists who examine the incidence of breast cancer - in particular, they found an increased risk among women who give birth to firstborn after 40.
An example of the United Kingdom, which is leading in Europe in the frequency of this type of oncology, according to doctors, may be associated with the tendency to later birth. In addition, there is evidence that older mothers are more likely to suffer from diabetes.
At the same time, too early childbirth can be dangerous. According to research by Swiss scientists, girls who have become mothers under 20 years have increased risks of cardiovascular and cancer. Experts advise not to rush and wait with childbirth for at least 22 years.
According to Eurostat, the average age of birth of the first child in Europe varies greatly. The youngest mothers are women from Bulgaria (an average of 25.7 years), Romania (25.8 years), Latvia and Estonia. The oldest are women in Italy (30.6 years), Spain (30.4 years) and Luxembourg.
Thus, despite social and economic factors, doctors are unanimous in conclusion: the optimal age for the birth of a child - up to 35 years, and between childbirth it is necessary to keep a break of at least two years for a full recovery of health.
