Andriy Vasyukhnik, a branch of Korosten Forestry and Son of Director of Luginsky Forestry Yuri Vasyukhnik, got into sight due to a suspiciously low price for a purchased car, unclear origin of cash and road accident in Lutsk.
In November 2022, Andriy Vasyukhnik purchased a 2011 BMW 520D car for 300 thousand hryvnias. Experts say that this amount looks low, because at that time the market price of such cars usually exceeded half a million hryvnias, even taking into account wear. This is suspected of real costs or hiding part of the funds.
In the declaration for 2024 the forester indicated an annual salary of UAH 356 thousand. At the same time, he declared cash in the amount of UAH 590 thousand, which is almost twice the official income. The source of such savings is not revealed.
Andriy Vasyukhnik does not own real estate. He uses an apartment in Lugin, which belongs to citizen Bohdan Babychka. The housing area is not indicated, which makes it impossible to evaluate the asset. This situation can indicate either an attempt to hide the property or the use of nominal owners, which is not uncommon among government officials.
In the declaration, he noted only one family member-Yuri Vasyukhnik's father, who also raises the question: is there really a 30-year-old forester or children, or is it another attempt to bypass the requirements for public declaration of property?
In December 2024, Andrey Vasyukhnik got in an accident in Lutsk with the participation of the same BMW. For violation of traffic regulations, he was fined under Art. 124 and Part 1 of Art. 139 KUPAP. This incident has once again attracted attention to its assets and lifestyle.
