On the evening of May 29, a fatal incident occurred in the Lviv region - a freight train hit a 37-year-old man. This was reported by the Civil Defense Department of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
The tragedy occurred at around 9:45 p.m. on the railway line between the settlements of Komarno and Velyky Lubin. The victim was a resident of Velyky Lubin, born in 1988.
As a result of the collision with the train, the man died on the spot from his injuries. Law enforcement officers are currently working at the scene to establish all the circumstances of the incident. The reasons for the victim's stay on the tracks are still unknown.
An investigation will be conducted into the tragedy.
