Zhidachiv District Court of Lviv region fined the deputy of Zhidachiv city council Igor Chernaik for 68 thousand hryvnias for false information in declarations for 2022 and 2023. The court acknowledged that the deputy hid the property for over UAH 19 million, including buildings, land and car.
In addition to the fine, Monteica is forbidden to occupy positions in the authorities within one year. The decision was made by Judge Roman Ravlinko on April 2.
What the MP hid
In the Declaration for 2022 Igor Cherneyko did not indicate:

Non -residential buildings of 1.7 thousand m² on the street. Industrial in Zhidachev (worth UAH 2.8 million);

Six more buildings on the street. Shashkevich (2.4 thousand m², 3.5 million UAH);

two land plots on industrial (14.4 thousand m², UAH 12.4 million);

building of the shop, household building and two more sections for Shevchenko (739 thousand UAH);
-
VAZ car.
The total value of hidden property is over UAH 19.4 million. In 2023, Cherneyko again filed a false declaration.
Pleaded guilty
During the trial, the deputy pleaded guilty and asked the court not to punish him strictly. The court granted the request and imposed a fine without a prison period.
Who is Chernaiko
Igor Cherneyko - a deputy from the Civic Position Party, is engaged in business with his wife Roman. The couple declared:

7.6 million UAH of income for 2023;

UAH 5.2 million for 2022.
Chernaiko is a co-owner of Sich and Sofia-Bud companies that trade in auto parts and building materials.
