A woman from Lviv tried to take old books across the border

At the checkpoint "Krakivets" on the border with Poland, border guards of the Lviv detachment detained an attempt to illegally export four ancient books of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Books of high historical value were found in the trunk of a Mitsubishi car in which a 30-year-old woman from Lviv was traveling. She tried to transport these old prints without proper permission.

The State Border Service of Ukraine reported that the ancient books were seized, and a protocol was drawn up on the violation of customs rules. All further actions in this case will be carried out in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
