Petro Poroshenko increased his wealth by more than 250 million hryvnias in February 2024 alone. This is almost 90 million more than in the entire pre-war year of 2021, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption reports.
Thus, according to the four declarations submitted to the NAKC on changes in property status, in February 2024, the leader of the "European Solidarity" faction, Petro Poroshenko, earned 251 million 194 thousand 907 hryvnias. Among the specified sources of income: alienation of securities and corporate rights, dividends and interest from securities.
For comparison, for the whole of 2021, the oligarch got richer by only 162 million 138 thousand hryvnias, which is 89 million hryvnias less than in one February of 2024.
During the previous year of the war, Poroshenko's wealth grew by $224 million, which made him one of the three richest oligarchs in the country. Currently, Poroshenko's capital is about $1 billion.
