The former absolute champion of the world in boxing in super heavy weight Lennox Lewis commented on the expected rematch between the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk and the British Tyson Fury, which is scheduled for December 21.
Lewis spoke about Fury, stating, “Fury will learn from his loss in the first fight and come back! Defeat is also part of the game, and how you react to defeat is very important." This statement emphasizes the importance of responding to defeats in professional sports, and also provides additional intrigue before the rematch.
We will remind that in May of this year Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury, becoming the first absolute world champion in the heavyweight division of the 21st century, who united four championship belts - WBA, IBF, WBO and WBC. After the match, Usyk turned to his late father, expressing joy at the achievement. Usyk, dressed in the costume of a Cossack hetman, was unable to attend the press conference because of a suspected broken jaw, and was hospitalized.
After the defeat, Fury said that he actually won the fight, although the bookmakers predicted Usyk's victory. This controversial aspect added more tension to the upcoming rematch between these two outstanding boxers.
