According to the statement of the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, Dmytro Natalukha, about a million men of military age in Ukraine do not have an official status, which includes occupation, study or disability.
He explained that during the analysis of the mobilization potential, it was found that these people are practically anonymous to the state registers, having only identification codes. Some of them do not appear at all in the registers of entrepreneurs or hired workers, and some deliberately avoid the attention of the state by ceasing official employment.
Natalukha believes that the implementation of the economic reservation system can solve this problem. According to him, the absence of such a tool strongly affects the labor market, increasing illegal migration and demoralizing the real sector of the economy.
"The lack of this toolkit (economic booking, — ed.) has its effect on the market as well. According to officially unconfirmed data, at least 200 men of draft age try to leave the country every day. Daily. Not to mention the number of dismissals from jobs in order to work unofficially and not "glow" in the registers. This is the demoralization of the real sector of the economy. It has negative consequences," the politician emphasized.
