The LGBT march will take place in Kyiv on June 16

After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the "March of Equality" or LGBT March will take place in Kyiv on June 16. This was announced by the head of KyivPride, Anna Sharygina.

The LGBT march will be held in Kyiv, but not in the subway, the head of KyivPride reported.

According to Anna Sharygina, the "March of Equality" will take place in Kyiv on June 16 after a two-year break. Representatives from abroad will also take part in the event.

"As for security, the route was fully discussed with the police, and the plan of the event was discussed. We implement certain security measures as organizers, in particular, that the march will be closed, only with prior registration.

This is also one of the security measures. The march will take place on the streets of Kyiv, but it will be not far from the shelter, as the instructions recommend, and we will follow them," said Sharygina.
