On Monday morning, April 14, a serious road accident occurred in the Obolon district of Kiev with the participation of a route bus and a gas station. Five passengers who were hospitalized with medical facilities were injured as a result of the collision. This was reported by the press service of the Patrol Police.
The incident happened on Bogatyrskaya Street. As militiamen previously installed, the route bus crashed into a Mercedes Benz truck, which was parked on the roadside. From the impact, the bus suffered significant damage, and four ambulances arrived promptly.
"As a result of an accident, five public transport passengers, aged 32 to 56, were injured, including limb fractures. They were hospitalized," police said.
According to militiamen, the 54-year-old driver of the minibus was in a sober state. Criminal proceedings are opened against him, and investigators find out the details of the event.
Currently, traffic in the direction of departure from Kiev on Bogatyrskaya Street remains complicated. Patrol police urge drivers to take into account the situation when planning a route.
