People's deputy Maryana Bezugla spoke about the recent losses of Ukrainian military equipment, in particular the destruction of the HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system in Sumy Oblast and the attack on the Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet. According to her, these incidents became possible due to the lack of adequate cover from the air.
In her post on Facebook, Bezugla noted that society could be distracted by the fighting in the Kursk region, leaving without due attention the situation in the Dnipro, where a Russian drone tracked down and destroyed a Ukrainian fighter jet. The deputy stressed that this strike was possible because the plane had no air defense.
"If you missed the message about the destruction of the Ukrainian MiG-29 in the Dnipro, being thoughts in Kurshchyna: no one from the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine admitted that there was no cover from the air again, and it was tracked down by a Russian drone. When the plane took off for refueling and replenishment of ammunition, the plane was destroyed," Bezugla writes.
In addition, the deputy drew attention to the loss of the HIMARS anti-aircraft missile defense system in the Sumy region, noting that the Russian forces were able to monitor the vehicle with the help of a drone and adjust the strikes without any obstacles.
"Also destroyed HIMARS in Sumy Oblast. The Russians drove the car with a drone and made adjustments without any obstacles for themselves," she added.
Earlier, a video appeared on social networks showing the Russians striking the HIMARS installation. Now this information has been confirmed by the People's Deputy.
