Ukrainian MP Mariana Bezugla, after a recent trip to the front, made a resonant statement in which she sharply criticized the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She expressed her dissatisfaction with the work of the commander of the Joint Forces, Yuriy Sodol, calling him a “criminal.”.
She also blamed those belonging to his "generals' faction" for the failures at the front.
“The new leader of the front, General Sodol, is a criminal. Syrsky allowed him to appoint “his own”: Galushkin (the recently removed leader of the Kharkiv direction after the Russian breakthrough – Ed.), Sokolov, Lutsenko. Not for skills, but for belonging to the general’s faction of Sodol,” Bezugla wrote.
She believes that “Galushkin collapsed the defense of the Kharkiv region,” and “Lutsenko missed Ocheretyn’s breakthrough to Pokrovsk and was not punished.”.
"Not a single general has been punished under Zaluzhny or Syrsky. They "surface" again and again. Nothing has changed. The general factions continue to ruin our future. And Syrsky is part of the process. He cannot go beyond the limits. I see attempts, but...", the people's deputy said.
