On the night of December 14, Russia carried out a large-scale attack on the territory of Ukraine with the help of 132 drones. This attack affected 11 regions of the country. As reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thanks to the effective work of air defense, it was possible to achieve significant results in neutralizing the threat.
It is reported that the attack was carried out with the help of Shahed type UAVs and drones of other types from the regions of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Orel, Bryansk, and Millerovo.
"The air attack was repulsed by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine," the message says.
UAVs were shot down in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions.
It will be recalled that the monitoring project DeepState reported on the night of December 14 that Russian invaders occupied the settlements of Vesely Gay, Elizavetivka, Romanivka, Novotroitske and Pushkine in the Donetsk region.
"The enemy occupied Vesely Hay, Elizavetivka, Romanivka, Novotroitske, Pushkina, and also advanced in Kostyantinopilsk, Suhy Yaly, Shevchenko, near Daleki, Pischany, Blagodatny and Storozhovo," the message said.
