Quarantine restrictions were introduced in the Kiev region due to an outbreak of animal rabies, which was recorded in three districts - Fastiv, Buchan and Obukhovsky. This was reported by the Kyiv Regional State Hospital of Veterinary Medicine.
The vet was warned that the restrictions will be in force by at least the end of August - mid -September 2025, depending on the settlement.
Anti -epidemic measures include:

prohibition of import and export of animals without special permission;

restrictions on the movement of animals between farms;

prohibition of animal participation in exhibitions, fairs, etc.;

Compulsory vaccination of all domestic dogs and cats.
