On the night of December 14, Russia launched a large-scale attack on the territory of Ukraine using 132 drones. This attack affected 11 regions of the country. As reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thanks to the effective work of air defense, significant results were achieved in neutralizing the threat.
It is reported that the attack was carried out using Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones from the Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Orel, Bryansk, and Millerovo regions.
“The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine,” the report says.
UAVs were shot down in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kirovohrad regions.
As a reminder, the DeepState monitoring project reported on the night of December 14 that Russian invaders occupied the settlements of Vesely Gay, Elizavetivka, Romanivka, Novotroitske, and Pushkin in the Donetsk region.
“The enemy occupied Veselyi Gai, Elizavetivka, Romanivka, Novotroitske, Pushkin, and also advanced in Konstantinopolske, Sukhye Yaly, Shevchenko, near Daleky, Pishchany, Blagodatny, and Storozhovo,” the report said.
