Matvii Bidny was appointed acting of the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine on November 9, 2023, and as the editors of our publication managed to find out, not thanks to professional achievements, but thanks to friendship with Volodymyr Zelenskyi's personal fitness trainer - Vadym Danilchenko.
Before becoming a minister, Matvyi Bidnyi worked as the director of the Department of Physical Culture and Non-Olympic Sports of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, and earlier he was an assistant-consultant of People's Deputy of Ukraine Andrii Portnov. But Matviy Bidny owes his rapid career rise to Vadym Danilchenko.
However, in reality, it is difficult to say who owes whom more, because thanks to Matvyi Bidny, the presidential fitness trainer had an entire ministry at his disposal. As found out , not a single meeting takes place in the Ministry of Youth and Sports without the participation of Vadym Danilchenko. According to our sources, Danilchenko also oversees financial flows in the ministry, as well as approves all key appointments.
About Matvyi Bidny's family ties with the Russian Federation
In 2019, Matviy Bidny divorced his wife Inna, and Victoria Dashutina, the daughter of former People's Deputy Hryhoriy Dashutin, appeared in his declaration. Dashutin is rightly suspected of cooperation with Russian state enterprises after 2014, and even after February 24, 2022.
This story developed when Matviy Bidny published his declarations for 2022 and 2023. It turned out that his wife, Victoria Dashutina, also owns a house in Gurzuf, in occupied Crimea, with an area of 1,086.9 square meters, and a plot in this area (1,228 square meters). This real estate was purchased before the occupation of Crimea.
In 2022, Victoria moved to Slovakia and rents an apartment in Bratislava.
In the last declaration, Victoria Dashutina did not indicate her shares in family firms. According to the analytical platform YouControl, she is a co-owner of "Solar NSV" LLC, "Nikmas" Concern and "Kyiv Experimental Repair and Mechanical Plant" PJSC. Perhaps the management of the companies has not yet updated the data in the Ministry of Justice. In the declaration of the deputy minister for 2021, it is stated that Victoria Dashutina was a co-owner of DA4 LLC (25%), the ultimate beneficiary of the following companies:

Victoria's father - Hryhoriy Dashutin, ex-people's deputy (1998-2005), founded a business empire, which is co-owned by his wife, son and daughter. In June 2023, Hryhoriy Dashutin was detained by law enforcement officers and charged with "creating a criminal organization" and "assisting an aggressor state." The products of the Poltava Turbomechanical Plant and VNDIkompressormash, owned by the Dashutin family, were supplied to Russia and Belarus. According to the investigation, during the first 16 months of the full-scale war, these enterprises supplied Russia with components worth more than UAH 160 million. Searches at the businesses of the Dashutin family continued throughout 2022-2023. Victoria Dashutina's brother worked as an economic officer at the Ukrainian embassy in India during the war. According to the decision of the Kyiv Court of Appeal, a part of the family enterprises was transferred to the management of the state agency ARMA.
Victoria Dashutina is also involved in the case of her father's treason, so she is forced to hide abroad. In addition, in 2023, ex-People's Deputy Ihor Mosiychuk made public the materials of the case, which show that Dashutin did not act alone, but through his daughter Victoria.
Only thanks to a friend close to the President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and connections in the Prosecutor General's Office, Matviy Bidny was able to "save" his wife from criminal prosecution
