The Ministry of Health has asked law enforcement agencies to conduct additional checks on the tender for the repair of the building of the Okhmatdyt hospital, which was damaged by rocket fire in July. This was announced by Health Minister Viktor Lyashko.
Lyashko noted that on August 2, all interested parties will have the opportunity to ask questions about this tender. “I invite you to do so in Okhmatdyt at 2:00 p.m., where I will be present together with the management of Okhmatdyt and the Fund,” the minister said. He emphasized that at the moment the contract with the contractor company has not yet been signed, as the study of its ability to perform the necessary work is ongoing.
Lyashko also promised that after the signing of the agreement, full transparency of the process will be ensured. Reports will be published daily to inform the public about the use of funds collected by charitable foundations for the restoration of the hospital.
More than 800 million hryvnias have been received into the accounts of charitable funds for the restoration of Okhmatdyt.
The winner of the tender was selected as “Bud-Technologies” LLC, which offered to perform the work for 307 million hryvnias (excluding VAT). The offer was the third most expensive among the 14 participants in the competition. A dozen other companies offered to perform the work much cheaper, from 42 to 286 million hryvnias. However, the customer did not negotiate with any of them, without explaining its decision.
An analysis by Nashi Groshi showed that out of the ten cheapest offers, at least seven contained fully completed commercial offers with prices for various types of work. The publication also found overpricing for the repair of Reynaers facade composite panels and interior wall decoration with HP panels.
