Ukrainian singer Irina Fedyshyn continued a public dispute with the performer Melovin, accusing him of intolerance because of abusive statements to her. She told this in an interview with Masha Efrosininius, remembering a resonant scandal about her views on the LGBT community.
When asked by the presenter about the consequences of statements in which she hinted that homosexuality was a sin, Fedyshyn reacted emotionally:
"Now look at how he answered, Marie. Is that tolerant? He said I am a fool. And every other thing. Is that tolerant?"
It is a reaction of singer Melovin to previous Fedyshin statements about homosexuality. After her public criticism, LGBT Melovin called Irina "durepo" on social networks and sharply condemned her position.
In conversation with Efrosinina, Irina Fedyshyn once again emphasized her religious position:
"I am a Christian. I live by the Bible."
The singer also expressed concern that, in her opinion, some representatives of the LGBT community impose their orientation to other people. However, she did not give specific examples.
The scandal between Fedyshyn and Melovin broke out last year when the singer publicly voiced the opinion that homosexual relationships were sin. Numerous stars and activists who accused Fedyshyn of homophobia reacted to this.
The most acute answer was Melovin-openly gay and one of the most famous representatives of the LGBT community among Ukrainian artists. He emotionally answered Irina's words, calling her "fool" and urged the artists not to cover disdain for other religion.
