Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov announced the preparation of six underground schools in the city, which will be equipped to teach children in safe conditions. In particular, three of these schools are planned to be completed in the near future, which will ensure a safe educational process for more than 5,000 students.
"We now have the opportunity to teach more than 5,000 school-aged children. We equipped 6 metro stations. In addition, we have built a real underground school, which is designed for almost a thousand students in two shifts, and we use it to its full extent. In addition, today we are preparing 6 underground schools, 3 of which we hope to complete soon, so that children have the opportunity to study," said Terekhov.
