The famous Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke called to help Ukraine and took the initiative to collect funds for the reconstruction of Kherson.
In an emotional video message posted on his Instagram, Rourke wishes Ukrainians a happy New Year and expresses his condolences to those facing the consequences of the war unleashed by Russia. The actor noted the difficult trials that people in Ukraine are going through and wished that 2024 would bring only the best moments.
"I just want to wish a happy New Year to everyone in Ukraine. I know you're going through a lot of very important things," said Mickey Rourke.
The celebrity expressed his desire to help restore the destroyed houses of the Kherson people who lost their homes due to the war. Rourke announced a charity fundraiser with the goal of raising a million dollars for the reconstruction of Kherson.
"Please help me collect donations to help all the people in the small city of Kherson. We are trying to collect a million dollars and help all people who are in a difficult situation and real suffering," the actor said.
