The Yavoriv District Court of Lviv Oblast found the commander of the training company, Volodymyr D., guilty of neglect of duty due to the unauthorized abandonment of the unit by five servicemen. He was fined 17,000 hryvnias for the administrative offense.
According to a resolution published in the court registry in December 2025, five servicemen left the location of the military unit from October 20 to 26. Because of this, a report on an administrative offense was drawn up against the commander of the combined training company.
The document states that the junior lieutenant did not properly record personnel, did not conduct individual educational work with military personnel, did not plan and control combat training, and did not ensure internal order in the unit that would guarantee compliance with laws and provisions of the Statutes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the court hearing, the commander admitted his guilt. The case was heard by Judge Ihor Matviyiv, who examined all the materials and imposed a fine. The decision can still be appealed in accordance with the procedure established by law.
