The head of the Odessa branch of the Batkivshchyna Party and the former Victory Odessa Dmitry Zheman was in the center of the next scandal. Journalists found out that even before a political career, he made money on budget funds through illegal mining of cryptocurrencies and "sawing" of communal transport on scrap. But special attention is paid to his shadow fortune, which is not visible in the declaration of the official for some reason.
The first months of managing the Zheman of the enterprise "City Lieutrotrans" coincided with the purchase of a spacious three -room apartment in an elite LCD in the village of Kryzhanivka. The owner was his retired mother Svetlana, who had no declared income except pension. Meanwhile, Zheman himself officially received only 13 608 UAH per month.
Even more interesting transformations took place with his wife Tatiana. The woman became the owner and director of several passenger transportation companies. Its income has grown rapidly: from UAH 28,000 in 2017-up to more than half a million in 2019.
But the greatest mysteries are in the declaration. More precisely, what is not there:
-a two-storey elite villa with towers, sauna and pool in the village of Korsunka near Odessa (cost-at least $ 1.5 million)
-Audi Q8 2021 for UAH 1.87 million
-a motorcycle of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle. 000 euros.
All this is just a "top" of hidden assets, investigators say. Because after the appointment of Victory, the scale of corruption schemes of Zheman, according to sources, only increased.
This story once again asks: can anti-corruption bodies finally get to the old schemes when officials lived on a wide foot, covered with scanty salaries and retiree relatives?
