Ternopil region police investigator Viktoria Khrushch, while on maternity leave, became the subject of high-profile suspicions of illicit enrichment and false declarations. Despite her official income, she purchased luxury cars, declared large cash “gifts,” and completely ignored the fact that she was living with her common-law husband and had a child.
According to the official declaration, in September Khrushch bought a 2018 BMW X5 for 1 million hryvnias — an amount that is twice her annual salary. The seller of the car was citizen Valentina Kornyushkina, and the indicated price is significantly lower than the market price. The basis of the funds — 850 thousand hryvnias — was allegedly “donated” by Ulyana Khrushch. This is not the investigator’s first car: in 2023, she declared a BMW X1 for 20 thousand hryvnias, although the real cost of such a car exceeds 800 thousand.
Khrushch's declaration only lists her sister's home - a 35.4 m² apartment in Ternopil, which cannot be a permanent place of residence for a mother with a newborn child. At the same time, the investigator's income is limited to 507 thousand hryvnias in salary and social benefits. She also indicated 7 thousand dollars in cash, but omitted the fact of cohabitation with the father of her child, which is a direct violation of the law on declaration.
