It has been officially announced the creation of the Council for the Restoration of the Okhmatdit National Health Service, the main purpose of which is to control the process of rebuilding the largest children's hospital in Ukraine. The first eight members of the Council have already been identified, including representatives of charitable, international and intergovernmental organizations, as well as diplomats and health care specialists.
According to the notification of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Council for the Restoration of Okhmatdyt included:

Viktor Lyashko, Minister of Health of Ukraine, expressed his gratitude to the participants for their willingness to contribute to the restoration of the hospital. "Soon the first meeting of the Council will take place. We appreciate everyone's willingness to invest their time and knowledge in ensuring a transparent and high-quality process of restoration of Okhmatdyt," Lyashko noted in his Facebook post.
In parallel, the selection of representatives of civil society to supplement the composition of the Council continues. Until August 14, 2024, public organizations can apply for participation by filling out the appropriate form.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health canceled tenders for technical supervision and consulting services for the restoration of Okhmatdyt. As it became known, the decision was made after "Our Money" discovered problems with the tenders, in particular, the fact that the winner of one of the tenders was a company without experience, whose offer was one of the most expensive among all participants. Health Minister Viktor Lyashko confirmed that agreements with the tender winner have not yet been concluded, and the tender will be transferred to the Prozorro platform.
It is also planned that the funds of charitable funds, which are intended for the restoration of "Okhmatdyt", will be transferred directly to the hospital's account to ensure transparent use of funds.
