Despite daily attacks on energy infrastructure and constant challenges of war, Ukraine's energy system is kept and continues to provide the country with light and heat. This was stated by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko during a speech at the Global Outlook , assuring that energy is 100%.
Attacks on the power system of Ukraine are not stopped for a single day. The enemy applies new approaches, increasing the complexity of attacks, but Ukrainian energy is in line with rapid adaptation. According to Galushchenko, in the conditions of war it is necessary to introduce non -standard technical solutions, which sometimes even go beyond the conventional parameters. However, these methods work to ensure that the system stability.
“We have a great experience in managing the energy system in extreme conditions. This is a large number of technical solutions that, although not in accordance with generally recognized standards, are effective. Therefore, I am sure that energy will stand, it is 100%, ”the minister emphasized.
The stability of the Ukrainian power system is ensured by the daily work of thousands of energy. In difficult and dangerous conditions, they promptly restore damaged objects after rocket strokes and drones. Galushchenko stressed that every kilowatt of electricity received by Ukrainians is the result of heroic work of people who risk their own lives.
The minister is convinced that the war has become a catalyst for changes in the energy sector. Ukraine has a unique experience in protecting the power system, which can be useful for other countries seeking to strengthen its energy security.
“Ukraine has all the prerequisites to become a key energy hub in Europe. We are already working on new projects, offering simplified permits and quick investment decisions, ”Galushchenko said.
Galushchenko also appealed to European partners to invest in Ukrainian energy. Investments are now not only necessary for the restoration of destroyed infrastructure, but also for the further development of the energy system, which can be an example for other countries.
