On November 13, the branch of the Private Enterprise "Affairs Management" of JSC "NNEC "Energoatom" ordered three Hyundai Staria 2025 minivans from "Olympus Motor" LLC for a total of 6.81 million hryvnias. The purchase took place without competition, as no one else submitted offers for the tender.
The most expensive was a black all-wheel drive minivan in the 7-Top configuration with an additional Bronze option package worth UAH 2.61 million. The car is equipped with a 2.2-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 177 hp, an automatic transmission, front and side airbags, a stabilization system, video monitoring of "blind spots", all-round cameras, heated steering wheel and seats, climate control, multi-color interior lighting and a BOSE audio system with 11 speakers.
Another black minivan 9-Business Plus cost UAH 2.22 million, and a gray front-wheel drive minivan 9-Business cost UAH 1.98 million. According to the dealer's website, the prices for the corresponding configurations slightly exceed the contractual amounts of Energoatom.
Olimp Motor LLC belongs to Kyiv-based Happy Auto LLC, whose owners are Iryna Ginzhul, Valeria Ozova, and Volodymyr Shepel. It is Shepel who is the director of the winning company.
Procurement without competition raises questions about the transparency of the use of budget funds, especially against the backdrop of past corruption investigations related to Energoatom.
