The Ministry of Culture is working on the transfer of the Pochaiv and Svyatogorsk laurels to the state

The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine is actively working on the transfer of the Pochaiv Lavra in Ternopil Oblast and the Svyatogorsk Lavra in Donetsk region into state ownership.

This was reported by acting Minister of Culture Rostislav Karandeev.

This also applies to the objects on the territory of the "Ancient Chernigov" reserve, which are used by the church.

We will remind you that earlier the Ministry of Culture made a decision to withdraw the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra from the UOC. However, this decision was only partially implemented. The UOC continues to use the Lower Lavra.

Also, the draft law on banning the UOC is currently being considered in the Council.
