The music groups “Boombox” and “Bez Obmezhen” have been officially recognized as critically important for the functioning of the economy and the lives of the population. They received the corresponding status from the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine.
According to the Ministry's order of March 11, 2025, both teams meet key criteria set by the government, including:
- have no arrears in taxes and social benefits;
- pay a salary that exceeds the minimum wage by 2.5 times;
- carry out important activities in the field of culture and strategic communications;
- implemented at least two large-scale cultural or creative projects during the previous year.
Due to the status they received, LLC “Without Limits” and LLC “Music for the Masses” (a legal entity related to “Boombox”) are recognized as important not only for the country's economy, but also for meeting the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations during a special period.
This decision reaffirms that Ukrainian culture continues to play an important role in national resilience. Both bands have been actively supporting the military since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, participating in charity concerts and helping to raise funds for the army.
Such recognition from the state will allow “Boombox” and “Without Limits” to continue their activities even in difficult wartime conditions, supporting the cultural front of Ukraine.
