Our mass media love to compare Israel and Ukraine. We, like Israel, are a small country with no less freedom-loving people regarding the threat that looms over us. But the war shows that there is a difference, and it is huge!
Why do Israelis call the war for the freedom and independence of their country their sacred duty and proudly take up arms to repel enemy aggression, while Ukrainians flee because of TCC representatives who ambush them in transport and other crowded places?
Why did none of the citizens of Israel think of paying for the opportunity not to participate in the defense of the homeland, and the citizens of Ukraine are ready to pay for fake medical certificates to doctors and border guards for their short-sightedness, which allows them to flee the country?
Journalists of the 360UA NEWS decided to understand the situation.
And to begin with, let's compare the attitude to the war and the mobilization of elected representatives of the people, its political elite. Those who, by their own example, lead us to victory, demonstrating unity with the people who elected them!
Israel
The Israeli news portal Ynet reports whose children of Israeli authorities were voluntarily mobilized after the Hamas attack on Israel:
- Avner, the youngest son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu;
- son of President Yitzhak Herzog (fighting directly in Gaza itself);
- 2 children of Defense Minister Yoav Galant;
- 3 sons of Minister Benny Gantz;
- 2 sons of Minister Gadi Eisenkot;
- son of Minister of Social Security Yaakov Marji;
- Miri Regev, the eldest daughter of the Minister of Transport;
- daughter of Economy Minister Nir Barkat;
- 2 children of Minister of Aliyah and Integration Ofir Sofer (son of Israeli Minister of Aliyah and Integration Ofir Sofer - was wounded during the fighting in Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip);
- son of Ofir Akunis, Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology;
- all the children of Agriculture Minister Avi Dichter;
- 2 children of Minister of Education Yoav Kish;
- 2 sons of Strategic Planning Minister Ron Dermer;
- 18-year-old son of Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir;
- 8 family members of Minister Orit Struk: 4 of her children and 4 husbands of her daughters;
- all family members of Labor Minister Yoav Ben-Zur, and those who are not serving, volunteered;
- the son of minister Ifat Shashi-Biton, from the first days of the war;
- 2 children of Minister of Justice Yariv Levin.
But what can we say, even the former adviser to the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs, Zoryan Shkiryak, is proud of his daughter, who defends Israel in the ranks of the IDF.
It should also be noted that in the first days after the invasion of Hamas, the son of the former Minister of Science of Israel Izhar Shai, Yaron Shai, died in battle. He was 21 years old.
Ukraine
It must be said that the position of Ukrainian officials regarding the mobilization of their children into the ranks of the Armed Forces is extremely and very restrained.
And information about the children of officials and politicians for some reason disappears from the pages of the sites, as evidenced by 404 responses from pages where articles about the heroic children of the Ukrainian elite were previously posted:
But, thanks to the WebArchive, we can recover information about the nation's moral standards.
Let's start with the main patriot of Ukraine - Petro Poroshenko.
The two sons of the ex-president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Oleksiy and Mykhailo, who are more than military age (the older one is 38 years old, the younger one is 22 years old), have long since settled in London, where they feel great.
Vitaliy Klitschko also hid his children abroad from mobilization, who previously declared that in the event of a war, he, as an officer, would pick up a machine gun and go to the front:
Klitschko never lies! He said he would go to the front and left! On the corruption front, where are the cobblestones and bridges! - YouTube
The eldest son of Vitaliy Klitschko, 23-year-old Yehor-Daniel, lived in Miami for some time, and is currently studying at the London School of Economics. There he studies global management.
The youngest son, 18-year-old Maxim-Olexander, graduated from a private British school in 2023, after which he entered the prestigious American Taft School in the state of Connecticut, which is known for its sports teams.
The children of another patriot, Vadym Prystayk, hold the Western Frontier. The elder Prystayko, Andriy, lives in the city of Leuven in Belgium, and the younger Volodymyr lives in Vienna, Austria.
The son of oligarch Oleksandr Gerega, 29-year-old Taras, lives in Switzerland, where he spends all his time cheerfully and carefree.
Dmytro Gordon could not go to defend Ukraine, because he is a father of many children. He explained the absence of sons at the front by the illness of one of them, and the fact that the other two sons were not born in Ukraine, but in America. Everything is logical.
Ukrainian patriot Viktor Yushchenko also courageously did not send any of his sons to war! His son Taras is studying at the University of Massachusetts in Cambridge, the price of education in which with a master's degree is about half a million dollars for one child.
Two sons of conscription-age Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovoy live abroad. This is evidenced by their records in social networks.
This is what Sadovy said earlier in an interview, answering the question whether his children received summonses: "I think that everyone will go through the war. I believe more in the system that exists in Israel, when both men and women must serve in the Armed Forces."
However, 21-year-old Ivan-Pavlo Sadovy, despite the fact that he had already graduated from the Nottingham business school in Britain, did not start saving his homeland from the invaders, but got a job as a marketer in the same Nottingham. And his younger brother, 19-year-old Tadej-Luka, is sometimes in the Netherlands watching ducks in the canals of Amsterdam, or drinking Bellini in Denmark.
Viktor Pylypyshyn, a former People's Deputy and head of the Shevchenkiv district, took his son Oleksandr abroad.
Marik Dobkin, the son of Mykhailo Dobkin's younger brother Dmytro, who was so fond of snooping on the sidelines of the VRU, cannot receive a summons because he travels abroad all the time.
The son of the "Servant of the People" MP Armen Ghaziyan, who attacked the wife and mother of the military the other day, was able to escape abroad on the second attempt.
In April 2022, Daniel Gazian tried to leave Ukraine with a forged document. As we have already mentioned, case 495/2635/22 was considered in May, Gazian Jr. paid a fine of UAH 3,400 and a court fee of UAH 496.20.
After one failure, the official's son did not give up, and on the second attempt he was able to escape across the ocean. Together with his wife and two daughters, Daniel lives in the USA, in Kirkland, a suburb of Seattle.
Andre Andriyovych Lopushansky, despite the fact that he was in the capital on February 20, 2022, as evidenced by the photo with the Mercedes S AA7777EM car. With the advent of war, he left his homeland, and now he wanders poor between Dubai and New York.
The son of the head of Cherkasy OVA, Major General Ihor Taburets, as can be seen from the guy's social networks, also went abroad because of the war. In 2022, he lived in Paris, and then moved to Spain.
Adam Virastyuk, the 20-year-old son of strongman MP Vasyl Virastyuk, became a rapper and sings about the problems of drug use from abroad.
The son of the Speaker of the Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk found himself in an awkward situation. The official has two children - daughter Zlata and son Oles.
Before the start of the full-scale invasion, the speaker stated that the daughter had entered a Polish university, and the son was studying in Kyiv. But with the beginning of the war, it became clear that Oles feels comfortable in Vienna with his sister, and in February 2023 he even visited the fashionable Ukrainian club "Beshket" in London.
A t-shirt with the inscription "Glory to Ukraine" spoke eloquently about support for Ukraine. Later, he wrote that he returned to Ukraine, but now his social networks are closed.
"I am a reserve officer and if necessary I will fulfill my duty"! - Nestor Shufrych's eldest son Oleksandr said in March 2022. But... due to the lack of need for officers in the ranks of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Shufrych is forced to engage in football and betting on football.
Serhii Boychenko, an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and part-time son of the mayor of Mariupol, Vadym Boychenko, who fled the city in the first days of the invasion, continues to spend millions from the budget.
In 2020, Boychenko proudly told Gordon about his son Serhiy, but when the great war came to Mariupol and real protection was needed, Lieutenant Boychenko became a civilian. Lives in Dnipro, travels around the country, arranges romantic photo shoots with his beloved.
The son of Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin, Mykhailo, left Ukraine in a hurry right after he came of age in June 2023, without waiting for the conscription age to come.
Andrii Denysenko, the son of Vadym Denysenko, an official who proposed banning men from leaving Ukraine for a period of 3 years after the end of the war. Unexpectedly for himself, as soon as he turned 18, he found himself outside of Ukraine. De is now forced to wander, running a YouTube blog about traveling in Europe.
Acting Minister of Culture Rostislav Karandeev forgot to mention his son Myron in his declaration, explaining that his son was studying in Poland and the official did not know about the need to enter the data.
Oleksiy Parashchenko, a "politician" from the people, instead of mobilizing, went to travel Europe with his wife - Victoria Lisnycha. The heroine of the Bankova corruption scandal, detained at the end of 2019 for demanding a $300,000 bribe for help with the appointment to a position at Naftogaz.
The next "defender" of Ukraine is Ivan Koshlyak, the son of the Dnipro police officer Mykhailo Koshlyak. The boy practices judo and competes under the Austrian flag.
Dmytro Shurov's son, Lev, turned 19 this year. It is known that the young man has been in London for more than a year, where he studies at a music college.
Presenter Katya Osadchoa has an older son from her first marriage. Ilya is already 21 years old. On the eve of the Russian invasion, her heir entered a US university and went to study.
The legendary Ukrainian football player Andriy Shevchenko has 4 sons. The boys were born and raised abroad. The star father recently proudly announced that his oldest son, Jordan, 19, has been accepted to an Ivy League university - and will attend Yale.
The son of the mayor of Kolomyia, Oleg Stanislavsky, works in Bali and does not have time to comment on how he managed to cross the state border.
28-year-old Pavlo Dubnevich, son of ex-Nardeput and now head of Solonkiv OTG Bohdan Dubnevich, left Ukraine at the beginning of the invasion and still hasn't returned.
In the spring of 2022, the son and grandson of the singer Sofia Rotaru tried to illegally cross the border of Ukraine, but they were caught and the case was closed. Soon after, 29-year-old Anatoly went abroad and never returned. His father is also in Europe now.
The 36-year-old son of Ostap Stupka is currently in the USA. Dmytro Stupka does not plan to return to Ukraine - at least not for the duration of the war.
In their broadcasts on YouTube, the official bloggers of the Office of the President of Ukraine: Petrov and Ivanov say that all men of Ukraine should be mobilized, but they do not have time to follow their own advice.
Vlad Ivanov, the adult son of Serhii Ivanov, cannot mobilize either.
Who among the chosen ones still went to the front?
In total, 2 deputies out of 423 members of parliament went to the front. At the same time, no one went to fight among the children of people's deputies.
There are many more former deputies in the Armed Forces.
Today, people's deputies Roman Kostenko, Serhii Rudyk, Roman Lozynskyi, Mykhailo Zabrodskyi and Yana Zinkevich are fighting at the front.
Two sons of Oleksiy Danilov are fighting.
Famous Ukrainian stars replaced their successful careers in defense of the homeland.
Actor Maksym Devizorov, frontman of the band "Antitila" Taras Topolya, actor Garik Bircha, singer Andrii Khlyvnyuk, rapper Yarmak, frontman of the band TNMK Fagot, director Oleg Sentsov.
Andriy Onistrat, a well-known banker and businessman, is fighting at the front. He went to war together with his eldest son, 21-year-old Ostap, but unfortunately, on June 4, 2023, the boy died a month before his birthday. The tragedy happened near Vugledar - Ostap was the operator of the UAV attack department.
PR people at war
However, among those who are currently in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and TRO, there are also those who can be called imitators.
Among them is football player Aliyev, who received a medal and a car from the former deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine for not leaving Kyiv during the siege.
The rest of the PR team in the war is less heroic, but their photo albums from the front are simply bursting with the number of photos.
This is the "Servant of the People" Svyatoslav Yurash, who from the first days entered the image and ran after the military.
The couch warrior in always perfectly clean and ironed camouflage is Taras Berezovets.
Staff hero - Yehor Firsov.
Yuriy Lutsenko, the hero of all possible battles and combat encounters, who unexpectedly fell ill with all ailments.
Yulia Tymoshenko, thanks to whose feat Kyiv was undoubtedly saved.
Kira Rudyk, with her stunning photo shoot.
Omnipresent Oleksiy Honcharenko.
And, of course, the Guards oligarch Petro Poroshenko, who forever basks in the rays of glory.
Sad results
To say that it is nice to be aware of the fact that there is no elite in Ukraine ready to prove their devotion to the ideals of the country by their example would be very incorrect.
The country's elite at the front from the first days!
But the parasites, who are mistakenly called the elite, and their staff are sitting in holes themselves, and their children were evacuated from Ukraine.
The Ukrainian leadership, power and party elites live for their country, but this is not Ukraine. And that is why they do not reciprocate her for the billions stolen and taken offshore, and they are not going to die for her, because they are guests here.
Everything they have of value has been abroad for a long time. Where their families, money and other assets live and thrive.
They have nothing to protect here and nothing to build, nothing to preserve.
In Israel, the situation is completely opposite!
Israelis live in this country, live for this country, live for the sake of the country and it reciprocates!
That's why no one in the face of the enemy thinks: "maybe I won't go to the front" or "how can I avoid mobilization." No!
Every Israeli, even one who lives far from his homeland, considers it his holy duty to meet the enemy, no matter how terrible and powerful he is!
And if Ukrainians want their country to become like Israel, we must get rid of the parasites in power, giving it to the elected representatives of the people - the real elite who have proven their right to recognition of their merits on the war fronts!
