Mobilization leads to personnel starvation: Kyivpastrans foresees a transport apocalypse in the capital

Intensive mobilization in Kyiv has already been seen in the work of the public utility "Kyivpastrans". Metropolitan transporters lack workers.

According to the activists, in six months to a year, the system will begin to fall apart - the capital's ground transport will face the problem of significant stops, because the energy infrastructure of communal transport during this time is critically degraded.

There is already a shortage of electricians and cable workers for this work, who repair networks for the movement of trolleybuses and trams.

Experts say that the "Kyivpastrans" KP does not have a reservation of specialists, therefore, employees are actively mobilized, and some have joined the ranks of the Armed Forces as volunteers since the beginning of the war.

The analyst believes that women could replace mobilized men in some positions in Kyivpastrans, but for this it is necessary to create favorable working conditions for them.

Serhii Lytvynov, director of transport at Kyivpastrans KP, reported that the mobilization had an impact on the personnel situation at the enterprise, as, in fact, at all enterprises in the city. A significant part of KP drivers was mobilized.

Currently, "Kyivpastrans" actively involves specialists who even worked at the company before. They say that there are resources for this. As for the lack of electricians servicing the company's electrical networks, "Kyivpastrans" confirms that there was indeed such a problem, but now the situation is improving.
