Our media really likes to compare Israel and Ukraine. We, like Israel, are a small country with no less freedom-loving people in terms of the threat that hangs over us. But the war demonstrates that there is a difference, and it is huge!
Why do Israelis call the war for freedom and independence of their country their sacred duty and proudly take up arms to repel enemy aggression, while Ukrainians flee because of representatives of the CCC who ambush them in transport and other crowded places?
Why would it never occur to any Israeli citizen to pay for the opportunity not to participate in the defense of their homeland, while Ukrainian citizens are willing to pay for fake medical certificates to doctors and border guards for their shortsightedness, which allows them to flee the country?
Journalists from the 360UA NEWS decided to investigate the situation.
And to begin with, let's compare the attitude towards war and mobilization of the elected representatives of the people, their political elite. Those who lead us to victory by their own example, demonstrating unity with the people who elected them!
Israel
Israeli news portal Ynet reports which children of Israeli government officials were voluntarily mobilized after Hamas' attack on Israel:
- the youngest son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – Avner;
- the son of President Yitzhak Herzog (fighting directly in Gaza itself);
- 2 children of Defense Minister Yoav Galant;
- 3 sons of Minister Benny Gantz;
- 2 sons of Minister Gadi Eisenkot;
- son of Social Security Minister Yaakov Marji;
- the eldest daughter of Transport Minister Miri Regev;
- daughter of Economy Minister Neer Barkat;
- 2 children of Minister of Aliyah and Integration Ofir Sofer (son of Israeli Minister of Aliyah and Integration Ofir Sofer – wounded during fighting in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip);
- son of Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology Ofir Akunis;
- all the children of Agriculture Minister Avi Dichter;
- 2 children of Education Minister Yoav Kish;
- 2 sons of Minister of Strategic Planning Ron Dermer;
- The 18-year-old son of National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir;
- 8 family members of Minister Orit Struk: 4 of her children and 4 of her daughters' husbands;
- all members of Labor Minister Yoav Ben-Zur's family, and those who are not serving, volunteered;
- son of Minister Ifat Shashi-Biton, from the first days of the war;
- 2 children of Justice Minister Yariv Levin.
But what can I say, even the former advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs, Zoryan Shkiryak, is proud of his daughter, who defends Israel in the ranks of the IDF.

It should also be noted that in the first days after the Hamas invasion, the son of former Israeli Science Minister Izhar Shai, Yaron Shai, was killed in combat. He was 21 years old.
Ukraine
It must be said that the position of Ukrainian officials regarding the mobilization of their children into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is extremely and very restrained.
And information about the children of officials and politicians is for some reason disappearing from the pages of websites, as evidenced by 404 responses from pages where articles about the heroic children of the Ukrainian elite were previously posted:
But, thanks to the WebArchive, we can restore information about the moral standards of the nation.
Let's start with the main patriot of Ukraine - Petro Poroshenko.
The two sons of former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko – Oleksiy and Mykhailo, who are over draft age (the elder is 38 years old, the younger is 22 years old) – have long since settled in London, where they feel great.
Vitaliy Klitschko, who previously stated that in the event of war, as an officer, he would pick up a machine gun and go to the front, also hid his children abroad from mobilization:
Klitschko never lies! He said he would go to the front and he did! On the corruption front, where there are cobblestones and bridges! – YouTube
Vitali Klitschko's eldest son, 23-year-old Yegor-Daniel, lived in Miami for some time and is currently studying at the London School of Economics, where he is studying global management.
The youngest son, 18-year-old Maxim-Olexander, graduated from a private British school in 2023, after which he entered the prestigious American Taft School in Connecticut, which is known for its sports teams.

The children of another patriot, Vadim Prystaiko, also hold the Western Frontier. The eldest Prystaiko, Andriy, lives in the city of Leuven in Belgium, while the youngest, Volodymyr, is settling in Vienna, Austria.

The son of oligarch Oleksandr Gerega, 29-year-old Taras, lives in Switzerland, where he spends all his time happily and carefree.
Dmytro Gordon was unable to go to defend Ukraine because he is a father of many children. He explained the absence of his sons at the front by the illness of one of them, and by the fact that the other two sons were born not in Ukraine, but in America. Everything is logical.
The patriot of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, also courageously did not send any of his sons to war! His son Taras studies at the University of Massachusetts in Cambridge, where the cost of studying there with a master's degree is about half a million dollars per child.
Two sons of Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy, who are of military age, live abroad. This is evidenced by their posts on social networks.
Here's what Sadovy said earlier in an interview, answering the question of whether his children received summonses: "I think everyone will go through the war. I am more in favor of the system that exists in Israel, when both men and women must serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.".
However, 21-year-old Ivan-Pavlo Sadovy, despite having already graduated from Nottingham Business School in Britain, did not set out to save his homeland from the invaders, but got a job as a marketer in the same Nottingham. And his younger brother, 19-year-old Tadej-Luka, is now in the Netherlands watching ducks in the canals of Amsterdam, now drinking Bellini in Denmark.
Former People's Deputy and Head of Shevchenkivskyi District Viktor Pylypyshyn also took his son Oleksandr abroad.
Marik Dobkin, the son of Mykhailo Dobkin's younger brother Dmytro, who loved to snoop around the VRU, cannot possibly receive a summons because he travels abroad all the time.
The son of Servant of the People MP Armen Ghaziyan, who recently attacked a woman and mother of military personnel, was able to escape abroad on his second attempt.
In April 2022, Daniel Gazian tried to leave Ukraine with a forged document. As we already mentioned, case 495/2635/22 was considered in May, Gazian Jr. paid a fine of 3,400 UAH and a court fee of 496.20.
After one failure, the official's son did not despair, and on his second attempt he was able to escape overseas. Together with his wife and two daughters, Daniel lives in the United States, in the town of Kirkland, a suburb of Seattle.
Andre Andreyevich Lopushansky, despite the fact that he was in the capital on February 20, 2022, as evidenced by the photo with the Mercedes S AA7777EM car. With the advent of the war, he left his homeland, and now the poor man wanders between Dubai and New York.
The son of the head of the Cherkasy OVA, Major General Ihor Taburets, as can be seen from the guy's social media, also left abroad due to the war. In 2022, he lived in Paris, and then moved to Spain.
The 20-year-old son of strongman deputy Vasyl Virastyuk, Adam Virastyuk, has become a rapper and sings from abroad about the problems of drug use.
The son of Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk found himself in an awkward situation. The official has two children – daughter Zlata and son Oles.
Before the full-scale invasion, the speaker claimed that his daughter had enrolled in a Polish university and his son was studying in Kyiv. But with the outbreak of the war, it became clear that Oles was comfortable in Vienna with his sister, and in February 2023, he even visited the trendy Ukrainian club Beshket in London.
A T-shirt with the inscription “Glory to Ukraine” spoke eloquently about his support for Ukraine. Later, he wrote that he had returned to Ukraine, but his social media accounts are now closed.
“I am a reserve officer and if necessary, I will fulfill my duty”! – said the eldest son of Nestor Shufrych, Oleksandr, in March 2022. But… due to the lack of need for officers in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Shufrych is forced to engage in football and football betting.

Lieutenant Serhiy Boychenko, an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and part-time son of Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boychenko, who fled the city in the first days of the invasion, continues to spend millions from the budget.
In 2020, Boychenko proudly told Gordon about his son Sergey, but when a big war came to Mariupol and real protection was needed, Lieutenant Boychenko became a civilian. He lives in Dnipro, travels the country, and arranges romantic photo shoots with his beloved.
The son of Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin, Mykhailo, immediately after he celebrated his majority in June 2023, hastily left Ukraine, without waiting for the draft age to arrive.
Andriy Denisenko, son of Vadym Denisenko, an official who proposed banning men from leaving Ukraine for 3 years after the war, unexpectedly found himself outside Ukraine when he turned 18. Where he is now forced to wander, running a YouTube blog about his travels around Europe.
Rostislav Karandeev, the acting Minister of Culture, forgot to mention his son Myron in the declaration, explaining this by the fact that the son was studying in Poland and the official was not aware of the need to indicate the data.

The “politician” from the people, Oleksiy Parashchenko, instead of mobilizing, went to travel around Europe with his wife, Viktoria Lisnycha. The heroine of the corruption scandal on Bankova Street, detained at the end of 2019 for extorting $300,000 in bribes for help with an appointment to a position at Naftogaz.
Another “defender” of Ukraine is the son of Dnipro OPPZhshnik Mykhailo Koshlyak – Ivan Koshlyak. The guy practices judo and competes under the Austrian flag.
Dmitry Shurov's son, Lev, turned 19 this year. It is known that the young man has been in London for several years, where he studies at a music college.
Host Katya Osadchaya has an older son from her first marriage. Ilya is already 21 years old. On the eve of the Russian invasion, her heir entered a US university and went to study.
Legendary Ukrainian football player Andriy Shevchenko has 4 sons. The boys were born and raised abroad. Recently, the star father proudly announced that his eldest son, 19-year-old Jordan, has entered an Ivy League university – and will study at Yale.
The son of the mayor of Kolomyia, Oleg Stanislavsky, works in Bali and does not have time to comment on how he managed to cross the state border.
28-year-old Pavlo Dubnevych, the son of former People's Deputy and now head of the Solonkivska AH Bohdan Dubnevych, left Ukraine at the beginning of the invasion and has not returned yet.
In the spring of 2022, the son and grandson of singer Sofia Rotaru tried to illegally cross the border of Ukraine, but they were caught, and the case was hushed up. Soon, 29-year-old Anatoly nevertheless went abroad and never returned. His father is also in Europe now.
Ostap Stupka's 36-year-old son is currently in the United States. Dmytro Stupka does not plan to return to Ukraine - at least not during the war.
In their broadcasts on Youtube, official bloggers of the Office of the President of Ukraine: Petrov and Ivanov, say that all men in Ukraine should be mobilized, but they themselves do not have time to follow their own advice.
Vlad Ivanov, the adult son of Sergei Ivanov, is also unable to mobilize.
Which of the chosen ones still went to the front?
In total, 2 deputies out of 423 members of parliament went to the front. However, none of the children of people's deputies went to war.
There are many more former deputies in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Today, People's Deputies Roman Kostenko, Serhiy Rudyk, Roman Lozynskyi, Mykhailo Zabrodskyi, and Yana Zinkevich are fighting at the front.
Two sons of Alexei Danilov are fighting.
Famous Ukrainian stars have also exchanged successful careers for defending their homeland.
Actor Maksym Devizorov, frontman of the band “Antitila” Taras Topolya, actor Garik Bircha, singer Andriy Khlyvnyuk, rapper Yarmak, frontman of the band TNMK Fagot, director Oleg Sentsov.
A well-known banker and businessman, Andriy Onistrat, is fighting at the front. He went to war with his eldest son, 21-year-old Ostap, but unfortunately, on June 4, 2023, the boy died, not even a month before his birthday. The tragedy occurred near Vugledar - Ostap was an operator in the strike UAV unit.
PR people at war
However, among those who are in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Armed Forces today, there are those who can be called imitators.
These include football player Aliyev, who received a medal and a car from the former deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine for not leaving Kyiv during its siege.
The rest of the PR team at war is less heroic, but their photo albums from the front are simply bursting with the number of photos.
This is “Servant of the People” Svyatoslav Yurash, who from the first days entered the image and ran after the military.
A sofa warrior in always perfectly clean and ironed camouflage – Taras Berezovets.
Staff hero – Yegor Firsov.
The hero of all possible battles and military clashes, who unexpectedly fell ill with all ailments, is Yuriy Lutsenko.
Yulia Tymoshenko, thanks to whose feat Kyiv was undoubtedly saved.
Kira Rudyk, with her stunning photoshoot.
The ubiquitous Oleksiy Goncharenko.
And, of course, the Guards oligarch Petro Poroshenko, who is forever basking in the rays of glory.
Sad results
It would be very incorrect to say that it is pleasant to realize the fact that there is no elite in Ukraine that is ready to prove its devotion to the ideals of the country by its own example.
The country's elite has been at the front since the first days!
But the parasites, who are mistakenly called the elite, and their staff are sitting in holes themselves, and their children were evacuated from Ukraine.
The Ukrainian leadership, the security and party elites live for their country, but it is not Ukraine. That is why they do not reciprocate for the billions stolen and taken offshore, and they are not going to die for it, because they are guests here.
Everything they have of value is long gone abroad, where their families, money, and other assets live and prosper.
They have nothing to protect here and nothing to build, nothing to preserve.
In Israel, the situation is completely opposite!
Israelis live in this country, live for this country, live for the sake of the country, and it reciprocates!
Therefore, no one, when faced with the enemy, has the thought: “Maybe I won’t go to the front” or “How can I avoid mobilization?” No!
Every Israelite, even those who live far from their homeland, considers it their sacred duty to stand up to the enemy, no matter how terrible and powerful he may be!
And if Ukrainians want their country to become like Israel, we must get rid of the parasites in power by handing it over to the elected representatives of the people – the true elite, who have proven their right to recognition of their merits on the fronts of war!
