Since the beginning of May, those liable for military service in Ukraine have been required to report to the territorial personnel support center (TCK), even if they have not yet received a summons.
Today, mobilization in Ukraine is taking place according to the old rules until the new draft law comes into force. It will be implemented on May 18.
From May 1, 2024, all men aged 18 to 60 must appear at the CCC without a summons to obtain permission to change their place of residence within the country, withdraw from military registration to travel abroad, accept military registration when changing their address, report changes in personal data, loss of a military document, update information in the CCC, and confirm the right to deferment.
Conscripts who are already registered in the military must report to the CCC upon summons, undergo a medical qualification commission and military training, and perform military duty. They are not entitled to change their place of residence during martial law without notifying the CCC and the border guard service.
The new draft law on mobilization No. 10449 will come into force on May 18. According to it, every man liable for military service between the ages of 18 and 60 must appear at the CCC within 60 days from the date of signing the draft law. This is necessary to clarify his residential address, contact details and other personal information. This data can also be clarified at any administrative services center or through the conscript's electronic account.
If the conscript does not appear at the CCC on his own, the head of the center has the right to apply to the police for administrative detention and delivery of the citizen. In case of failure to comply with this requirement within 10 days, the CCC may apply to the court with a request to restrict the right to drive vehicles until the requirement is met or withdrawn.
