Ukraine has a significant mobilization reserve of 3.7 million people, The Financial Times . The publication cites data from the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, which indicates the country's demographic potential in the event of a full-scale war with Russia.
Of these:
– 1.2 million have already been mobilized or gone to the front as volunteers;
– 2.9 million live in the occupied territories;
– 1.3 million went abroad;
– 600 thousand booked (it is unknown, however, where this figure came from, since there was previously information that from one to one and a half million people were booked in Ukraine. But how many of them remained after the recent audit of the Cabinet of Ministers is still unclear. The media reported tens of thousands of those who lost their reservations, but this was not officially confirmed);
– 1.5 million are unfit for military service.
The remaining 3.7 million are men who can be mobilized. Of these, 900,000 are not registered in any registers.
