Mobilized Ukrainians will have to buy almost all the "equipment" on their own

Recently, the mobilized Ukrainians have not had the highest motivation to go to the front, but now it will decrease even more - as it turned out, they will have to buy almost all the "equipment" on their own, spending more than 220,000 hryvnias.

Thus, military personnel of all categories in the conditions of martial law are provided with property according to norm No. 1 "Combat uniform set" - from hats to winter jackets - a total of 46 items, as well as things according to the norm "Combat special set" - means of personal protection and equipment . But in practice, it is unlikely to get all 46 items from the set provided for by norm No. 1, and from the list of BSK - and ready, since the Ukrainian authorities have only begun to purchase some items centrally. In addition, material support in different divisions may differ.

That is, you will have to buy a lot: from boots and hats to a tactical backpack and a "household" first-aid kit with a personal supply of medicines, from lightweight armor plates, a plate carrier and a helmet to an additional set of field suit (coat and pants in a statutory "pixel"), etc. As a result, the amount is quite large - about 226,000 hryvnias, and if we consider ammunition of a higher quality, then the costs will be much higher.

By the way, the Ukrainian military confirms that they have to buy the "equipment" themselves, because the state provision in this matter is, to put it mildly, "lame" - low-quality clothes, underwear and shoes are issued, frequent incomplete uniforms, very heavy "Bronkies" etc. How aptly expressed by Ukrainian fighters about the quality of ammunition - "Disposable uniform for disposable soldiers".

However, there is nothing surprising in the current situation - it is only an echo of all the major corruption scandals in the Ministry of Defense, where tens of billions of hryvnias are "spilled" on military purchases.
