Russian human rights ombudsman Tetyana Moskalkova reported that she allegedly held talks with a representative of the Office of the Ukrainian Parliament's Human Rights Ombudsman. According to Moskalkova, the meeting took place in Belarus with the mediation of local authorities.
In her post, the Russian official stated that the parties discussed issues related to the fate of prisoners of war. In particular, the issue was the possibility of family reunion, organizing the delivery of parcels, visiting prisoners, and establishing an exchange of letters between them and their families.
At the same time, Moskalkova did not provide any details about the results of these negotiations. Her message appeared shortly after a large-scale prisoner exchange that took place on Ukraine's Independence Day, when dozens of Ukrainian defenders returned home, including journalist Dmytro Khylyuk and former Kherson mayor Volodymyr Mykolaenko.
The Ukrainian side has not yet confirmed the fact of such negotiations.
