The Ministry of Health plans to announce a tender for construction work for the new building of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdit" in the first half of May. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Health Eden Adamanov, Glavkom reports.
According to the official, the estimated cost of construction works is UAH 396 million. However, this amount can still be adjusted after the state examination of the project. It is about restoring the construction infrastructure of the hospital - without taking into account the cost of medical equipment.
"The estimate takes into account only facades, windows, engineering networks, ventilation - everything that is necessary for the functioning of the hospital, except medical equipment," said Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko.
In parallel with this, the Ministry of Health begins the process of conservation of housings damaged by shelling. In particular, these works are highlighted:
-
UAH 4.58 million - for conservation of the third building;
-
868 thousand UAH - for the preservation of the administrative corps.
According to Lyashko, the project of the hospital was completed two months earlier than the expected period. The exact time of completion of the reconstruction is not yet announced - they should be named after the procedures are finalized in May.
Adamanov explained that the duration of work is associated with a high level of complexity of construction (category CC3), as well as the fact that the hospital should continue to work during all stages of repair. Builders should keep evacuation outputs and minimize noise.
By the end of the year, the Ministry of Health plans to decide on the fate of the surgical corps - whether it is to be restored, whether it will have to be built from scratch.
