Possible Personnel Changes in the Ministry of Education: Media named the candidate

Within the framework of the announced personnel changes in the Ukrainian government, the post of Minister of Education may be under threat. According to Zn.ua, the head of the Ministry of Education and Science Oksen Lisovy is supposedly planned to replace him with his current deputy - Andriy Vitrenko. The purpose of the latter can be not only a political but also a scandalous basis.

Andriy Vitrenko heads the "servants of the people" faction in the Kyiv Council. In 2020, his campaign was promoted by Denis Komarnitsky, a businessman and an influential shadow player of capital policy, who is currently involved in the NABU criminal investigation. According to journalists, Vitrenko's lobbying was made possible by the direct request of Mykola Tyshchenko to the head of the President Andriy Yermak's office.

According to media reports, Vitrenko also claimed the post of Secretary of the Kyiv City Council, but received instead chairmanship in the budget commission - this was a compromise by mayor Vitaliy Klitschko. In this position, Vitrenko, according to journalistic investigations, did not actually interfere with Komarnitsky's work and received his share from Schemes.

The professional dossier of a possible new minister is also added contradictory moments in scientific activity. Co -authorship with Vitrenko appeared in economics, which contained references to Russian sources, which looks at least inappropriate in a full -scale war.

In view of these circumstances, the probable appointment of Vitrenko to the sensitive position of the Minister of Education raises questions not only about professional fitness, but also about political expediency.
