Kyivteploenergo plans to purchase about 1,400 office chairs and armchairs worth over 5 million hryvnias. The auction to determine the supplier is scheduled for September 4, and the delivery of furniture should be completed by the end of 2025.
As reported by KyivVlad, citing the Prozorro system, the expected cost of the purchase is UAH 5 million 327 thousand.
The tender provides for the purchase of various categories of office furniture:

chairs for managers - 29 pcs;

office chairs — over 400 pieces in various modifications;

chairs with mesh backs — 574 pcs;

chairs for visitors — 371 pcs (black and gray);

folding chairs — 55 pcs.
In total, we are talking about more than 1.4 thousand pieces of furniture.
Furniture production must begin no earlier than the fourth quarter of 2024, and the warranty period must be at least 12 months from the date of delivery. The procurement will last until December 31, 2025.
Kyivteploenergo is a municipal enterprise under the jurisdiction of the Kyiv City State Administration, which is responsible for heat supply in the capital. The purchase of furniture aroused interest, as the amount of over UAH 5 million seems significant against the background of limited budgetary resources and constant discussions about the priority of expenditures in wartime.
