Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and now Ambassador to the United Kingdom Valeriy Zaluzhny has released his first book titled “My War .” This was reported by the Babel publication, citing sources from Zaluzhny’s entourage. The book became the first part of a planned trilogy that tells about the life and military actions of the general.
"My War" covers key moments in Valery Zaluzhny's life, from childhood to the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. In addition to personal memories, a significant part of the book is devoted to the period when Zaluzhny led the country's defense during the most difficult stages of the war.
The trilogy will be continued with the books "Our War" and "Their War" , which will examine events in Ukraine through the prism of a broader national and international perspective. It is already known that the second book "Our War" is in the writing stage.
Although the book could be a launchpad for the former commander's political career, sources say that Valeriy Zaluzhny has no intention of entering politics. Instead, he plans to continue his diplomatic work as Ukraine's ambassador to the United Kingdom.
