Taras Mihavko, the central defender of Kyiv "Dynamo", commented on another defeat of his team in the Europa League match against the Czech "Victoria". Despite the negative result, the football player expressed confidence that the Ukrainian team was stronger than the opponent.
"We dominated the opponent. There will always be haters," Mihavko said after the game, stressing that the main reason for the defeat was the weak implementation of scoring chances by Dynamo. According to him, the team created enough opportunities to win, but could not convert them.
"Emotions after the end of the game are, of course, negative, because we didn't get the result we could have gotten. We didn't score enough chances. But we do not stop and will fight to the end," said the defender.
Mykhavko also thanked the fans for their support and drew attention to the importance of their support, despite the unpleasant result. "I want to thank the fans who support us anywhere and anytime. Thank you very much for being with us, and we are only trying to make you happy," he added.
Despite the fifth defeat in a row in the Europa League, "Dynamo" will continue the fight for exit from the group in the next matches of the tournament. Already on December 12, the Kyiv team will play away against Real Sociedad, and on January 21 they will meet Istanbul Galatasaray. The group stage will end with a match against the Latvian Russian Federation on January 30 at home.
