On August 15, the State Customs Service successfully completed the implementation of a new automated customs clearance system at all automobile checkpoints on the state border. The move is part of a large-scale digital reform aimed at streamlining processes, simplifying procedures, saving time and reducing costs for businesses. It is important to note that the new system also provides a significant acceleration of border crossing for citizens.
One of the key components of the new system was its integration with the new automated risk management system. This system has already demonstrated its reliability and speed on previously implemented modules. Its functionality allows more effective identification and minimization of risks associated with the movement of goods across the border. In addition, it helps to qualitatively work out the identified risks, ensuring a high level of control and security at checkpoints. This not only increases the efficiency of customs work, but also makes processes more transparent and less dependent on the human factor.
The planned introduction of additional components, designed taking into account the need for further European integration, is ahead. These innovations are based on the approaches and processes operating in the EU countries and will allow to further improve the interaction with the European customs systems. This is another step on the way to Ukraine's integration into the European economic space and adaptation to European standards.
It is important to note the active participation of international partners in the implementation of this project. With their support, it was possible to create a new fault-tolerant and disaster-resistant IT infrastructure that ensures uninterrupted system operation and maximum data protection even in the most difficult conditions. This is a vivid example of how cooperation with international organizations helps Ukraine implement complex and ambitious projects.
