In Cherkasy region, a man is suspected of shooting his ex-wife at work

In Cherkasy, a 54-year-old man is suspected of committing hooliganism with the use of a traumatic weapon. As reported in the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office, the incident occurred at the place of work of his former common-law wife.

As the prosecutor's office said, "the man, on the basis of a long-term hostile relationship, being at the place of work of his former common-law wife, fired three shots from a traumatic firearm into the entrance door and window of the room where the 56-year-old woman was, and left the scene of the crime."

"A 54-year-old resident of the city of Cherkasy was notified of suspicion of hooliganism committed with the use of firearms (Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the prosecutor's office reported

The investigating judge imposed a preventive measure in the form of a personal bond on the suspect.
