In Chernihiv Oblast, the trial of a criminal gang that brutally shot an entire family for $6,000 was completed. According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the terrible crime was committed according to the scenario that began with the offer of a former military man to an acquaintance to buy a car. For this purpose, a meeting was arranged at an abandoned gas station.
However, not only the man, but also his wife and 4-year-old son arrived at the meeting place. All three were shot dead. After committing the murder, the criminals buried the bodies in the forest, and the car was burned to hide the traces of the crime.
The criminals divided the 6,000 dollars obtained among themselves, regardless of the fact that their actions led to irreparable consequences for the family. The court, having studied all the circumstances of the case, sentenced the bandits to life imprisonment. In addition, the court ordered the convicts to pay 30 million hryvnias as moral compensation to the relatives of the victims.
This case shocked the entire country, emphasizing the boundless cruelty and impunity of criminals who are ready to commit the most serious crimes for money.
