In the Dnipropetrovsk region, law enforcement officers find out the circumstances of the explosion of the car, which caused the local official and his wife. According to police, the incident happened today around 07:40 am. Both were injured as a result of the explosion. The couple was in the car during the explosion.
The first deputy head of the National Police of Ukraine and the Chief of the Main Investigation Department Maxim Tsutskiridze, investigators, SBU staff and prosecutors arrived at the scene. The police noted that the issue of legal qualification of the event is now being resolved, all the circumstances and motives are clarified.
This is not the first such incident in Ukraine in the last day. On April 3, two explosions occurred in Kiev, which also attracted the attention of law enforcement. One of them happened in the Yunost Market in the Desnyanskiy district. According to preliminary data, a grenade exploded in the kiosk. As a result, two people were killed. Explosive equipment found ammunition residues that confirm the use of an explosive device.
Another explosion occurred in the Dnieper district of the capital. The man, while near the garages, found a piece of copper wire with a tied object, similar to a capsus from the sleeve. He decided to warm him with a lighter, which provoked the explosion. The victim was hospitalized with abdominal injury.
All cases are currently being investigated, the police do not exclude both careless handling of explosive objects and possible criminal acts. Law enforcement officers urge citizens to be careful and not touch suspicious items, as well as report any findings in the police.
