Specialists from the In Situ - the Archeology Department of the Dnipropetrovsk National Historical Museum, who confirmed that found, have historical value and can shed light on the life of the inhabitants of these lands several centuries ago, went to the place.
During the initial inspection, dozens of items were discovered - fragments of ceramics, metal parts treated, tools or production equipment possible. It is estimated that some of the artifacts may come from the Middle Ages, but laboratory analysis will show the dating.
Archaeologists have already taken samples for chemical analysis and radiocarbon dating. This will determine the age of findings, manufacturing technologies and the possible origin of materials. Particularly valuable is considered fragments with the remains of processing that can indicate craft activity.
After completing all the studies, the artifacts will replenish the exposition of one of the museums of the region. Thus, they will not only receive proper security, but also become part of a public collection available to visitors.
