In Dnipropetrovsk region, law enforcement officers detained a 42-year-old man suspected of growing and selling narcotics. During a search of the suspect's residence, a significant amount of drugs, as well as weapons, were seized. The total value of the seized cannabis is estimated at 25 million hryvnias.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, investigators have sent an indictment to court against a drug dealer from whom 25 million hryvnias worth of narcotics were seized during a search. The National Police reported this.
During the operational measures, law enforcement officers came across a 42-year-old local resident who could be involved in growing hemp and selling marijuana.
Law enforcement officers searched the man's house. It turned out that he had equipped the apartment with everything necessary for processing narcotics, including ventilation, a plant shredder, and a special dryer.
Law enforcement officers found plastic bags with crushed cannabis weighing a total of 105 kg. Also, in one of the rooms, two grenades with fuses and 30 5.45 mm cartridges were stored in a tent cover.
In addition, law enforcement officers discovered a cannabis plantation on the property, which the suspect carefully cared for: cultivated, watered, and processed. In total, police seized 206 plants.
In agreement with the Kamianka District Prosecutor's Office, the man was informed of suspicion of committing three criminal offenses:
- under Part 3 of Article 307 (illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues)
- Part 2 of Article 310 (sowing or growing of sleeping poppy or hemp)
- Part 1 of Article 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On September 11, investigators sent the criminal case with the indictment to court.
